Windows 11 - Can't Change The Order Of Taskbar Icons
The title pretty much explains it all. I recently updated to Windows 11, and as I expected, I regret it, for numerous reasons. My biggest issue currently though is with my taskbar. I do tons of stuff...
There is no Taskbar 'unlock' setting in Windows 11. First check whether Windows is in a touch-optimised taskbar state: Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors, then turn off the option that optimises for touch when the device is used as a tablet, if it is present. Restart Explorer from Task Manager and try moving only a pinned desktop app. This targets the shell mode without changing system files or restoring Windows.
