Window 11 randomly shutting off in a specific place
My window 11 laptop works normally when i am in my house, no sign of it being wrong. But when i went to a cafe to study, it just randomly shut off. Out of nowhere, the screen turned black and the keyboard light is black. I tried to turn it back on with the power button but its not turning on and sometimes it will turn on out of random. This only happened when i go to cafe and i have experienced this multiple times. Is it because of the cafe power supply not strong enough?? Or is it something else, ive checked the event viewer and no particular warning is there

Did you connect external devices when in cafe?

1. 3 Quick Fixes to Try Right Now
Disable sleep mode
Press Win + R and type powercfg.cpl.
Select “High Performance” → Click “Change Program Settings” → Change Sleep to “Never”
2. Check Overheating Problems
Touch the bottom of the computer/heat vents immediately after shutting down the computer.
If it gets hot:
Clean the fan dust
Use a notebook cooling stand
3. Remove external devices
Unplug all USB devices (especially removable drives/U disk)
Remove SD card (if any)
4. One-click automated repair
Run the troubleshooting package
5. Download the official Microsoft tool:
Windows Shutdown Troubleshooter
Double-click to run → Automatically detect the cause of shutdown
6. Focus area checking
If the problem always occurs in the same physical location:
Check the power outlet
Test by replacing the outlet
Avoid plug-in boards (plug directly into wall power)
Wi-Fi/Bluetooth interference
Turn off the wireless function when passing by the location:
Press Win + A → turn off Wi-Fi/Bluetooth
7. If the above does not work:
Reset power management
Turn off the computer → Unplug the power → Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds → Re-plug and turn on the computer.
Quick Reinstallation
8. After backing up files:
Press Win + I → System → Recovery → “Reset this computer” → Keep my files.
