It's worth mentioning that USB 3.0 ports also emit interference in the 2.4 GHz band. If your Bluetooth receiver is plugged into a USB 3.0 port, or your PC has many USB 3.0 devices active, this can compound the problem. This is often overlooked but can be a significant factor in Windows setups.
