Win 11 Cannot change wallpaper for each monitor

    Hello RMNZK, I had this issue too & found an easy fix.

    Hover over the "desktop" app on the taskbar next to the magnifying glass. It should say "Desktop 1" & "New Desktop". Open a New Desktop and remove "Desktop 1". After I did this it worked for me. I hope it works for you too! 🙂

RMNZK I tried the advice of "add another desktop and delete desktop 1", but that didn't work for me. What DID work for me was deleting desktop 2 (so it only has desktop 1 available), and that's when I was able to set different background pictures. 

As stated before, the way to delete and add desktops is to go to the desktop icon, next to the taskbar with the magnifying glass
