Why rounded corners not displaying properly?

Based on my observation, if a window corner of a web based app comes into contact with another based app, it becomes sharp. otherwise, it remains rounded. Is there any way to fix this? Below is the screenshot proof:

  • It sounds like a rendering glitch in Windows 11 or the apps you're using. Here are a few things to try:

    1. Update graphics drivers: Ensure they are up to date.
    2. Disable hardware acceleration in browsers (Chrome, Edge) under settings.
    3. Check for Windows updates: Ensure you're on the latest version.
    4. Reset display settings: Adjust scaling or multi-monitor setups.
    5. Reinstall apps: Sometimes specific apps may not support rounded corners properly.

These steps might resolve the issue with the rounded corners.

This issue might vary across hardware as I have a GT 640M and experience so such issues. I recommend reporting this to the Feedback Hub so it can get properly looked at.

This is by design. Windows snapping unrounds the corners when you snap it into a position.

If you really dont like this, you can download Microsoft power toys and use the window snapping included in that instead.
