Why I can't install Windows 11 on new PC?

New micro atx build, msi motor max b550 mobo paired with a ryzen 7 5700g cpu and 2 16g corsair vengeance ram. So while back I had to install windows 10 and upgrade to 11 due to missing drivers. Then I had it working well and ran an antivirus the other day and it just restarted my PC and wouldn’t boot.

So then i reinstalled win11 onto a new flash drive and put it in to reinstall, had all necessary drivers in pretty sure since the “missing drivers” didn’t pop up. And now it won’t let me past the partition page, and just freezes then says “error selecting partition for install” and whatever I do will not work.

    Hello JoyceBeatty

The issue started after running an antivirus that caused a boot loop. Then, when you tried to reinstall Windows 11, you're stuck on the partition page. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:

    1. Corrupted installation media: Try recreating the installation media using the official Microsoft tool.
    2. Partition issues: Ensure the partition style (GPT or MBR) matches your system's boot mode (UEFI or Legacy). You might need to convert the disk or adjust the BIOS settings.
    3. Driver conflicts: Although you mentioned having necessary drivers, it's possible there's still a conflict. Try disabling any unnecessary devices in the BIOS or removing any recently installed hardware.
    4. SSD issues: If you're using an SSD, ensure it's properly connected and functioning. To troubleshoot further, having this info might help:
    1. What storage drive are you using (SSD or HDD)?
    2. Are you using UEFI or Legacy boot mode?
    3. Have you tried using the "Diskpart" tool to clean the disk and create a new partition?

Windows 11 requires a UEFI firmware interface, so make sure your motherboard is set to UEFI mode and not Legacy BIOS. Check your BIOS settings and toggle between UEFI and Legacy if needed.

Please download the ISO from Microsoft! it seems there is something wrong with the iso image.
