Why I can't change my folder color anymore?
I changed my folder color by right-clicking and 'show more options', I think it was above 'create shortcut'. This was without 3rd party software, when my laptop had factory settings. Now I can't chan...
Right click > Properties > Customize tab > Change icon
This isn't helpful, that's the crusty old shell icon picker which requires you to pick from a list of ancient folder icons or make your own, and they don't allow dynamically displaying file contents. Up until very recently, with OneDrive installed, I was able to just right click -> change folder colour and select from the 10 or so OneDrive folder colours and be done. This is what OP is asking about and how to reenable that functionality.
