Why does Windows have so many processes running?
When I open Task Manager, I'm shocked to see so many processes running in the background, even though I haven't opened many programs myself. I don't understand why Windows needs all of these processe...

This is normal behavior in Windows; background processes handle system updates, driver services, and scheduled tasks. You can optimize performance by disabling unnecessary items in the Startup tab of Task Manager.
