Why does my PC keep asking for my password?
This has become very annoying. I keep getting prompted several times a day. Plus the default is something called "test profile" which might have been created by an MS agent (but not deleted) in diagnosing another problem.

Are they related to user account permissions, licensing, or specific software?
Check Notification Settings (Settings > System > Notifications) to see what prompts you’re getting.
Review Security & Maintenance in Control Panel for alerts.
I found and deleted (in two different places!) the test profile. So no longer being asked about that. I think I managed to end the password-request every time I wanted to do something (like moving an icon from one folder to another). Will be back here if it recurs, thanks
