why cant my computer search for gigantic files?
whenever i try to search for gigantic files by entering "size:gigantic" onto the search bar, it gives me nothing; how can i fix this? im positive there are files somewhere
Your screenshot shows Windows in Portuguese, so the English filter size:gigantic may not be recognised.
Try this instead:
System.Size:>1073741824
That uses the language-independent property name and searches for files larger than 1 GB. For files larger than 100 MB, use:
System.Size:>104857600
Under Opções de pesquisa (Search options), make sure All subfolders is selected, and allow the search to finish. You’re currently searching C: only; open This PC first if you want to search other drives too.
This checks individual file sizes, not the combined size of folders.
