Why can a nearly empty drive still have very little free space?
My external drive shows as nearly empty with only a few folders visible, yet Windows reports that less than 5% of the total capacity remains available as free space. I have already enabled viewin...
The file system is corrupted. Windows can't read it, which can cause space to appear used but inaccessible.
