What should I do if text size adjustments in Windows 11 fail to take effect after restarting?

After adjusting text size in Windows 11 (e.g., to 150%), the system reverts to default settings upon shutdown and restart (the settings interface shows changes applied, but actual text size remains at 100%). The adjustment must be reapplied for it to take effect, but the issue persists after subsequent restarts.

I am experiencing this same issue. I have two monitors connected to my pc, and recently upgraded one from a 1920x1080 to a 2560x1440. The other one was already the higher resolution. Previously the 1920 was using 100% scaling and the 2560 125%; now both are using 125%. The text size was set to 150% before the change and still is.

As with the OP, the text size is apparently at 100% after a reboot, although the slider on the settings page still shows 150%. I must change it at least 1% either way and then hit Apply to get the larger text, and then set it to 150% and Apply again.
