What is the Win+PrintScr shortcut actually doing ? how can I associate it to something else ?

Hi, when I press Win+PrintScr on Windows 11, the whole screen dims for 1s and come back, so I understand that something has happened. But there is no information what actually happened: I do not see any screenshot image being taken.

I would love to open an application with Windows+PrintScreen shortcut: but Win key cannot be used inside the Shortcut key field of PicfPick

The Win and Print Screen key combo takes an image of what is on the screen and then saves it to the ClipBoard. To see the image one opens Paint 3D or something similar and then the user hits Ctrl and V for paste.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best from Germany

If you want to change this behavior to open a different application using Win + Print Screen, you can achieve this by creating a custom shortcut for that application. However, since the Windows key cannot be used in many shortcut settings directly, you might need to approach it differently.
