Weird issue with right click in Photoshop on Windows 11 PC

Now when I try to paint in Photoshop with the new Huion tablet, the right click does not work properly. Every time I right click to bring up the brush menu, it flickers to the point of being unusable. I can't paint like this, I need this brush menu. See video. What's going on here and what could I try to fix it?

OS is Windows 11.

  • old Wacom driver is uninstalled
  • Latest Huion driver is installed
  • On windows "Pen and Windows Ink" config section, I disabled "Let me use my pen as mouse in some desktop apps"
  • in the Huion driver app, Windows Ink is deactivated

    In the same Properties window, go to the Advanced tab.

    Uncheck Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

    Also, uncheck Give exclusive mode applications priority.
