It looks like a bug in the volume mixer where setting the slider to 0 doesn't fully mute the sound, as it still stays at level 1. While you can manually mute using the icons, the expected behavior should be that 0 completely silences the output. You might want to report this issue via Feedback Hub and check if any updates or patches address this glitch. Meanwhile, as a workaround, manually muting from the icon is the best option.
