I had recently a 24 hour nightmare of a time trying to use their services!! I recommend DO NOT use them. It changed my browser to norton everything (which was garbage) It wouldn't let me run Adobe to open pdf files. It instead ran the program in the backround for phishing securety? No idea how that would even, or could even ever be an issue with any pdf file ever. Then while i was trying to figure out what was going on with my computer, and why nothing seemed to be working right, i went into nortons settings and they had permissions for remote access to my PC???? No where did I ever agree to any of those terms......If it wasn't bad enough that there was even an option for that, the box was checked. I DID NOT EVER ALLOW THIS ANYWHERE!!! Then as if all that wasn't bad enough, I had more spam in my emails than I typically got in a month, I had someone on my phone I had no idea who they were trying to msg me, and it asked if it was ok or not on my phone. mind you I had no idea who this was. I couldn't use microsoft edge, or chrome without it adding the extensions for nortons securety web browsing. If you disabled it or didn't add the extension there was huge exclamation marks on everything norton that said you had risks, and you need to fix them. So if you don't like their stuff and you turn it off you will be sitting with with so many things it says are problems that I truely don't know if you could, or would notice real problems. I honestly feel like the stuff you are trying to protect yourself from is way less harmful than if you add them. I actually feel like they are who i need saving from, not who can help me. STAY AWAY!!!! I am prob dumping windows completely and starting over so I can feel like i did prior to even having any antivirus. I am going to research hard before I use anyones services after that.

As for the Windows, Microsoft Defender and other security features like SmartScreen filter, Windows Firewall, etc. are sufficient , but you may also use any compatible security product you want.
