USB Type C cable connected mouse not working
1. Basic check

2. Power management settings
Right-click Start Menu → Device Manager
Expand "Universal Serial Bus Controller"
Right-click on each "USB Root Hub" → Properties → Power Management
Uncheck the box "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power"
3. Driver updates
Find "Mouse and other pointer devices" in Device Manager Right-click on your mouse → Update driver → Auto Search 4. Mouse and other Pointer Devices" in Device Manager
Right click on your mouse → Update Driver → Auto Search
4. USB Selective Suspend Settings
Control Panel → Power Options → Select Current Plan → Change Plan Settings → Change Advanced Power Settings
Find "USB Settings" → "USB Selective Suspend Settings" → Set to "Disabled"
5. BIOS Setting
Reboot Enter BIOS (at power on) Enter BIOS (press Del/F2 during boot-up)
Check USB related settings (e.g. set XHCI Hand-off to Enabled).
