USB-C monitor connection fails intermittently on Windows 11
My USB-C monitor keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly on Windows 11, even though the cable and ports seem physically secure. The display will work fine for a while, then suddenly go black for a few seconds before coming back, and this happens repeatedly throughout the day.

You’re seeing an established USB-C display connection repeatedly drop for a few seconds and recover, despite a secure physical connection. Because the monitor works between interruptions, isolate the video path before assuming the panel is faulty. Install pending Windows updates, then install the PC maker’s current graphics, USB-C, Thunderbolt, and dock firmware packages. Disconnect docks and adapters and connect the monitor directly. Test another known-good, video-capable USB-C cable, another USB-C display-capable port, and the monitor on another computer. When the screen goes black, press Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B once to reset the graphics driver. In Settings > System > Display > Advanced display, temporarily select a lower refresh rate. If the fault began after a driver update, use Device Manager to roll back the display driver; otherwise reinstall it. A failure that follows the cable, port, monitor, or computer identifies the component to escalate.
