Unable to install Windows 11 on ASUS B450
Here is my config:
CM: ASUS B450 MA
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
Ram: 16 GB Crucial
Storage: 1 NVME 1TB
Until this weekend everything was working fine I was running Windows 10. I had already noticed that I couldn't update W11 because I wasn't compatible because of Secure Boot, TPM and GPT.
I had a little time and I wanted to tackle that.
Except that it is impossible to install it.
Things I've already done...
- I created a key with rufus since otherwise the windows utility creates it in mbr... therefore impossible to install...
- transform my disk into GPT on another PC
- updated cm bios to the latest version
- put the secure boot in uefi windows mode
- disable CSM in bios
- TPM is ok normally
- I reset the bios, by the bios, but also with removal of the battery and clearcmos. Same.
- when you download the bios from ASUS it is noted that the default configuration of the bios allows you to install W11 but in fact no
I can install Windows 10 and switch it to an MBR disk obviously.
I don't know what to do anymore. I'm convinced it's a bios problem, that's all there is to it...

Check ASUS forums or support for your motherboard model for any known BIOS issues or specific settings needed for Windows 11.

The current disk format is MBR but Windows 11 requires GPT.

For windows 11, you have to format the disk to GPT.
