Troubleshooting Dual Boot Issue with winload.efi in Windows 11 and Windows 10
I have Windows 11 and Windows 10 installed on separate SSDs in my PC. Initially, I encountered issues trying to switch between the two operating systems using advanced startup due to a winload.efi error. This occurred when selecting the alternate OS from the boot menu or changing the boot priority in BIOS. However, the problem could usually be resolved by choosing the last F9 option and then re-selecting the desired OS.
In the process of troubleshooting, I inadvertently removed the Windows 10 installation from the system configuration. As a result, the option to boot into a different OS no longer appears in the advanced startup menu, although the initial issue persists.
While I recognize that this issue may have arisen from not disconnecting the other drives during installation, I am seeking a solution without the need for complete reinstalls. Reinstalling the systems is not a viable option shortly after the recent installation. Any guidance on resolving this without a full reset would be highly appreciated.
Furthermore, I am interested in adding the missing OS back to the advanced startup menu, provided that the blue screen error can be resolved initially.

- GaelljiwCopper ContributorWhile you mentioned reinstalling isn't preferable, if all else fails, you might need to consider repairing your installations or, as a last resort, reinstalling the affected OS. However, you can typically do so without wiping the data by choosing a "Repair" option during installation.

Access BIOS/UEFI Settings: Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup. This is typically done by pressing a specific key during startup, such as F2, Del, or Esc (check your motherboard's manual).
Boot Order: Ensure that your preferred OS (Windows 11 or Windows 10) is listed as the primary boot option.
Save Changes and Exit: Save any changes and reboot.
