Theme won't stick when using multiple desktops
Is there any solution for desktop backgrounds constantly changing (by themselves) when switching between virtual desktops? This has been ongoing for a year now, and Win11 seems unable to remember and...
Don't know if you still have the issue, but I got the same issue. How I fixed it seems weird but bear with me.
- Open Registry Editor (regedit).
- Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VirtualDesktops\Desktops - Inside each key under Desktops, delete the Wallpaper entry.
- Reboot your computer.
Then change your wallpaper to whatever you want and voilà, they shouldn't revert back to the default theme. Hope it helps! It worked for me atleast. Absolute insanity that these bugs are not fixed sooner.
