The Temporary Folder Keeps Accumulating Files

I have observed a significant increase in the storage taken up by the temp folder. The available options for clearing this space through Windows Settings or Disk Cleanup, whether operating as an Administrator or not, have proven insufficient in addressing this issue, resulting in only a minimal amount being reclaimed.

Despite information suggesting that temporary files utilized within the past week would not be removed, I have come across considerably older files that have remained unchanged for several months. Moreover, I find it perplexing that the cleanup feature does not identify and remove all redundant temp files as expected.

In addition to manually deleting the temp files, I am curious about the limitation preventing the Windows cleanup utility from effectively managing this task.
