Hi BreckenFoster, first check the taskbar tray settings and make sure the safely remove/eject icon is allowed to appear. In Windows 11, some tray icons can be hidden even though the device is connected correctly. If the USB drive appears in File Explorer but the eject icon disappears, open Device Manager and check under Disk drives and Universal Serial Bus controllers for any warning icons. I would also test another USB stick or external drive. If only one device does it, the issue is likely that device or its driver. If every USB storage device does it, then it is probably a Windows tray or storage driver issue.
