The PIN is invalid and needs to be reset
When unlocking the system, a prompt appears stating that your PIN is invalid and needs to be reset. When attempting to reset the PIN as instructed, entering your original PIN consistently results in a verification failure, preventing the reset from completing. As a result, you are forced to log in using a password. This issue occurs frequently following system updates.

Can you try removing the PIN completely from Settings > Sign-in options.
Then restart your system, retry setting new PIN.
