    1.File Type Association:
Ensure that the images are associated with an image editing application. Right-click on an image file, select Open with, and choose your preferred image editor.
If your image editor is not available, you can select "Choose another app" to find it.
    2.Update Context Menu Settings
    Default Programs:
Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps and review the default image viewer and editor settings.
    Restart Applications/Computer

If the "Edit" option is missing when you right-click on images in Windows, this option typically opens the image in an editing program like Paint or your default photo editor. Here’s how you can try to fix the issue:

    Set Default Photo Viewer:

    • Right-click on the image file.
    • Go to Open with > Choose another app.
    • Select the program you want to use to edit the image (like Paint, Photos, or any other photo editor).
    • Check the box that says Always use this app to open .[file type] files.
    • Open the image and see if the "Edit" option appears in the context menu next time.

If you're comfortable with modifying the Windows Registry, you can add the "Edit" option manually. However, this step is more complex and should be done with caution.

Open the Registry Editor by typing "regedit" in the Start menu. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell\edit\command.

Ensure the value of the (Default) key points to the executable of your preferred editor.

Make sure that you have an image editing application installed. Sometimes, the absence of a default app can result in the Edit option being missing. Install software like Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, or any similar app.
