I used to rely on Atlas VPN because of its free tier, but since it was merged into Nord earlier in 2025, the free version is no longer available.
Recently I switched to X-VPN and it's been working surprisingly well. I like that it doesn’t require registration and still gives me unlimited bandwidth, which is rare for a free VPN. I mostly use it to browse casually and hide my IP—nothing too intense—and so far, it’s been smooth.
One thing I found helpful is their support team—super responsive even for free users. Might be worth checking out if you're just looking for basic access and privacy on Windows 11.
