The “onetFile” folder keeps automatically appearing on the C drive in Windows 11
I'm running Windows 11, and a folder named “onetFile” keeps automatically appearing in the root directory of Drive C. It reappears shortly after I delete it. The folder contains only an empty subfolder named “recv.” Every time this folder is created, File Explorer becomes noticeably sluggish. I don't have OneNote or OneDrive installed on my computer. Could this be a virus? What are the possible causes? How can I fix this?

Certain background processes or applications might create temporary folders for operations or updates.
