Text rendering issue New Windows 11 Asus AIO

I just bought a new AIO for my partner to use. Our windows 10 machine was old and reliable but will be unsupported later this year. All is fine with the new machine except text rendering.  It has a 27" inbuilt monitor and max resolution is 1920x1080 which should be fine for a monitor this size. In fact pictures and video are excellent. Text rendering though is noticeably fuzzy and blurry with Outlook classic being particularly bad. I've tried all sorts of variations of ClearType, I've checked for driver updates.
