Microsoft redesigned the taskbar in Windows 11 to align with a more simplified, modern aesthetic and to streamline the user interface. Some customization options from Windows 10 were either removed or relocated.

It is not streamlined it's an absolute headache making me install 3rd party programs to fix Microsoft's failure to have foresight. I have had the task bar or the right side of the screen for the last 15 years and the biggest hurdle to installing windows 11 has been the stupid task bar. I waited until the very end of life of windows 10 to avoid having to deal with the task bar. This is frankly absurd.
