Task Manager show high CPU usage on my PC
My PC's Task Manager consistently shows high CPU usage, often peaking at 90-100% even when only a few programs are running, causing noticeable system slowdowns and lag. I have checked for background processes and malware, but the high usage persists, and I am looking for advice on diagnosing the root cause and fixing it.

If the process is a critical system file like explorer.exe or winlogon.exe, do not end it. If you're unsure, search the process name online first to identify what it is.
Please refer following suggestions:
-Turn off background apps for less important apps:
- Click Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Select an app, select More options (…), and then select Advanced options.
- Under Background app permissions, in the Let this app run in the background list, select Never.
-Perform System File Checker scan using sfc /scannow command.
-Perform system scan in Windows Security and also perform a malware scan.
-Free up disk space and delete unnecessary files.
