System start up excessive delay

My Dell Inspiron 3847 is experiencing startup issues. I've disabled all non-essential startup items except Windows Security Notifications. The startup disk is a Crucial 128GB SSD. The only recent change was the latest Windows update. Initially, I suspected a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), but after waiting about 15 minutes, I'm able to sign in.

Could you please guide me through troubleshooting this issue?

EDIT: I wish to thank everyone who generously took the time to help me troubleshoot. I am in the middle of a move and did not have the energy to figure it out. I even had Microsoft Support remotely try to assist and they even refreshed the Windows install but the problem persisted. I then proceeded to completely reinstall Windows while keeping my files in place. The system is back to its working condition. I am going to create restore points before any new install or update so I can go back if needed.

It’s good practice to keep an eye on system health, especially after Windows updates, and to perform periodic maintenance like disk cleanup and driver updates. It sounds like you’ve taken comprehensive steps, and your proactive approach will serve you well.
