Surface Laptop bitlocker everytime boot

Hi all,

 

I have 2 Surface 6 Laptops, brand new fresh out of the box.  They have Win11 Business 23H2 installed.

 

I think an install of updated firmware triggered bitlocker recovery on both.  I have to put the key in everytime they boot.  They do boot successfully once the key is input.

 

How do I stop them asking for the key?  There isn't anything on them so if a full reset is required that's not a problem.

    Remove the TPM protector and re-add it again.

    If that does not help, verify if the TPM is operating as TPM 2.0 and if yes, if the OS drive uses GPT partitioning (it has to, for TPM 2.0).
