Struggling to Easily Move or Copy Files in the New File Explorer

Wow, can you believe it? I recently upgraded to the W11 operating system! I'm still trying to figure out how some of the applications work in this new setup, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. I'll update all my specs shortly, but for now, let's focus on something else.

I currently have three hard drives - C, D, and M. My default download location is a folder cleverly named "Downloads" on my C drive. When I used to open downloads before, File Explorer in W10 would allow me to easily Move, Copy, Rename, and more with just a simple click. It feels a bit different now.

I'd like to know how to MOVE a file or folder from my C Drive to my M Drive. Additionally, if I connect a USB stick, how can I COPY a file or folder to it?

Thanks a bunch in advance for your help!

1.Use Drag and DropTo Move: Click and hold the file you want to move, drag it to the desired folder, and release it.
To Copy: Hold down the CTRL key while dragging the file to create a copy instead of moving it.
    2. Keyboard Shortcuts
Copy Files: Select the file(s) you want to copy and press CTRL + C. Then navigate to the destination folder and press CTRL + V to paste.
Move Files: Select the file(s) you want to move and press CTRL + X to cut them. Navigate to the destination folder and press CTRL + V to paste them.
    3. Context Menu Options
Right-click Method: Right-click on the file and select "Copy" or "Cut." Then navigate to the destination folder, right-click in the folder, and select "Paste."
    4. Quick Access and Navigation Pane
Use Quick Access: Pin frequently used folders to Quick Access for easier navigation.
Navigate Easily: Use the navigation pane on the left side to quickly switch between folders

You might find the Home tab in the ribbon at the top of File Explorer useful; you can use it for Cut, Copy, and Paste commands, especially if you prefer clicking over using context menus.
