Spontaneous Disconnection of SSDs Due to Infrequent Controller Failures

I am experiencing spontaneous disconnections of my SSDs, which occur unexpectedly and disrupt my workflow. These disconnections seem to be caused by infrequent controller failures, leading to temporary loss of access to the drives and potential data stability issues.

    Update your motherboard’s chipset, storage controller drivers, and BIOS/UEFI firmware.

     If the drive occasionally appears in File Explorer, this is your last safe window. Copy all critical files to another drive immediately. Hardware is replaceable; your data is not.

    Power down your PC and ensure all SATA/SATAe or NVMe cables are securely connected.
