Some software on Windows 11 opens the first time, but doesn't respond when double-clicked afterward
Hi, since this is happening with at least three applications, I would look for a shared Windows, security or user-profile problem rather than reinstalling each application repeatedly. After an application fails to reopen, check Task Manager for a process that remained running in the background and end it before trying again. Then launch the executable directly from an elevated Command Prompt and check Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer for a faulting module or error code. Test the applications in a new Windows user profile and during a clean boot. If they work there, the cause is probably a profile setting, startup service, antivirus component or shell extension. Process Monitor can also show whether the application is being denied access to a file, Registry key or DLL. It would help to know the exact application names and whether their processes appear briefly in Task Manager.
