Software compatibility issues
I'm dealing with a frustrating software compatibility issue on Windows 11—my go-to program either freezes mid-task or won't even start since the last OS update. I've already messed around with compatibility settings and administrator privileges, but no luck yet, so I'd really appreciate any advice from folks who've been through this before.

Right-click on the problematic program's executable (.exe) file, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and click "Run compatibility troubleshooter".
Check "Run in 640x480 screen resolution" – this helps if your program is from the XP era and chokes on modern resolutions.
