Sleep + Startup Anomalies After Win11 25H2 Update
After simultaneously updating both the Windows 11 25H2 system and BIOS, two issues have emerged: First, the system frequently wakes from sleep automatically, rendering keyboard wake-up ineffective—only the power button works. Second, upon startup, the mouse moves normally on the desktop, but the taskbar remains unresponsive. Programs can open but cannot be operated; recovery requires locking the screen with Win+L and then unlocking. Additionally, flashing the new BIOS or downgrading triggers automatic reboots. I need to determine whether this is caused by the system or the BIOS.

BIOS flashing or downgrading often triggers automatic reboots; this is normal. However, if reboots occur unexpectedly during normal operation, it could indicate BIOS corruption or instability.

- Restart your PC, hold Shift, and select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- Choose Safe Mode.
- Observe if issues persist.
- If problems are gone, it’s likely software-related.
