To always show all the Icons in the System Tray or Notification area of Windows 11/10, follow these steps:
1. Press Win+R to open the Run prompt.
2. Enter this value: explorer shell:::{05d7b0f4-2121-4eff-bf6b-ed3f69b894d9}
3. Tick the Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar checkbox.
4. Click the OK button.Hope this helps everyone!

When an icon is hidden in the system tray:
1. Click the arrow to expand the list of hidden system tray icons.
2. Grab the icon you want displayed directly into the system tray.
3. Drag it out of the hidden icons group.
4. Drop it in the system tray area (where the other icons can be seen).
5. Icon should be visible directly in the system tray.
I am not a Microsoft employee so this is a far as I can go to help. Unsubing from this thread now.

Thank you! this was new to me. Will test it next time, for sure easier to open the settings each time.
Still very silly that MS removes basic features that you expect to be there. Feels like an oversight.

- _NeilNSep 27, 2024Copper ContributorHow the heck do you get the Sticky Keys status to show on the taskbar? There's no listing for it in Settings and dragging any icon out from the "up arrow" area just gives me a grey not allowed icon. Upgraded versions of Win 11 still work (kinda) but fresh installs don't. Congrats on degrading a thirty year old accessibility feature, Microsoft.
