This works beautifully, while the shell option is no longer working even with admin elevated permissions. Thanks fvassura!

cefoskey Drag and drop the icons from that consolidated menu into the taskbar corner (where they live) and Windows 11 will show them w/o grouping. The config is holding, my icons are not grouped and Windows 11 is honoring that.

This is about windows keep hiding the icon in systemtray right?
Like when i update Discord, it gets hidden again. I need to keep going to the bloody taskbar settings and toggle the switch there to show the icon in systemtray again.
Why even remove show all from the beginning is beyond me!- arrueiraSep 09, 2024Copper ContributorWhen an icon is hidden in the system tray:
1. Click the arrow to expand the list of hidden system tray icons.
2. Grab the icon you want displayed directly into the system tray.
3. Drag it out of the hidden icons group.
4. Drop it in the system tray area (where the other icons can be seen).
5. Icon should be visible directly in the system tray.
I am not a Microsoft employee so this is a far as I can go to help. Unsubing from this thread now.
