set in English only, the Windows 11 Pro 25H2 OS menus, but still after RESTART the same German
In my PC an HP Z640 on Windows 11 Pro for Workstations 25H2, purchased from eBay. Some Windows menus are in German e.g. in Settings... due initial Installation was German Windows 11 Pro for Works...
Open Settings > Language & Region.
Under Preferred Languages, ensure English (United States) or your preferred variant is listed.
Click on English > Options.
Make sure Language pack is installed.
Check Speech and Handwriting options if available.
Set as default: Make sure the English language is set as the Windows display language.
