Greensh0t i have used for many years but often i have open the menu for the app,program to start taking a screenshot when i press prtsc
Can i fix it or get another free program to do it for me
If i just use prtsc i don't know where the f... it's stored in windows and takes to long time to access it compared to greensh0t i can predefine how i wanna take the screenshot and where to store it
I just wanna use something that works evey time and stores the screenshot in a predefined place (desktop folder with screenshot)

Of course, that's a classic Windows annoyance. Here’s the fix:
You can absolutely fix this! The easiest solution is to change a single setting in Windows so PrtSc automatically saves a file to your Screenshots folder, just like you want.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
Turn ON the toggle that says "Use the Print Screen key to open screen snipping."
Now, when you press PrtSc, it will open the Snipping Tool menu for you to select an area. That screenshot will then be automatically copied to your clipboard and saved to a file in your Pictures > Screenshots folder.
If you want a more powerful Greenfshot replacement, ShareeX is the best free program. It's incredibly powerful and lets you predefine exactly how you want to capture (region, window, etc.) and where to save it (like your Desktop folder). You can even set it to upload to imgur automatically.
