Re: Windows 11 Printer Issue - DYMO LW450 DUO is not installing correctly/entirely
After following the PDF again (deleting drivers and deleting the registry keys)
I thought to myself, what if i export the registry keys when it is working in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers
then importing them on reboot hoping that it would work but it didn't.
Also tried to remove permissions on the registry keys so my system wouldn't modify them hoping this would work.. but again it didn't.
It works on my Windows 11 by following the PDF but having to do this everytime i log in is really something.
Might make a script in the future that automates it every time i log in.
Wish Microsoft would just fix it...

Looks like Microsoft have finally released at fix with the latest 2023-05 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026446), which includes the following Highlight:
This update addresses a multi-function label printer issue. It affects the installation of some of them.
Tested on my PC, and now both the label and tape printing both work with my Dymo LW 450 Duo (I use the older Dymo Label v8 software as I prefer it to the new Dymo Connect).

Finally!!!!
After installation of KB5026446 and reboot, everything works as how it should be 🙂- Horrgakx1530Copper Contributor
SchuelerJB I have the 22H2 update for Win11 and my Dymo printers are NOT working. The tape works but the "virtual" label printer says it's offline. Any idea why mine isn't working and others are?
- JoeriSwBrass ContributorConfirmed that it works now after installing the update.
Thanks for letting us know.
Took them long enough...- StevieC-D_UKCopper Contributor
Hi could I ask what steps did you take with regards Dymo, was it reinstalled Dymo softwear, or just the stuff on the pc? Thanks JoeriSw
