Pls help me upgrade Acer Aspire TC-780 computer to Windows 11

The Intel Core i7-7700 is not supported by Windows 11. It comes with LGA1151 socket with Intel H110 chipset. Unfortunately, TC-780’s motherboard doesn't support Intel 8th/9th/10th/11th Gen CPUs. A motherboard replacement is required in order to install Windows 11 on this unsupported Acer desktop.
What are your upgrade options?
You need to upgrade the whole motherboard and CPU.
- Buy a new motherboard (B460, B560, H610, etc.)
- Buy a Windows 11-supported CPU (Intel 8th Gen or newer)
May also need:
- New DDR4 or DDR5 RAM (depending on the motherboard)
- Possibly a new power supply (check connectors and wattage)
- Fresh Windows 11 install
💡 If you go this route, your TC-780 case is usable—but verify if it uses standard mATX mounts and PSU (many Acer OEMs do).
If you're not ready to replace CPU + motherboard, you can upgrade Acer desktop to Windows 11 using a bypass method.
