When you moved the Music folder and typed just D:\ instead of D:\Music, Windows interpreted that as a command to set the entire D: drive as your Music folder . The folder then inherits the Music folder's icon and properties, making it look like your whole drive was "renamed"—even though the actual data is still there, just now technically inside the Music folder that points to the drive root.
