Paint 3D

Hi, when I used win 10 I used Paint 3D, which was really useful for the work I do. Obviously this has now gone and the Win 11 version doesn't have the same features or tools. I specifically want to be able to add my own "stickers" from my graphics and position within the projects I work on. Any advice or suggestions for apps that have this facility please. Many thanks

Paint 3D's sticker/canvas overlay feature was indeed one of its most useful and underrated tools. For what you're describing — importing custom graphics and positioning them as stickers within a project — here are a few genuine alternatives worth trying:

Photopea — free, browser-based, supports layers and custom graphics positioning very similar to how Paint 3D handled stickers. No installation needed.

Paint. NET — free Windows app, lightweight, supports layers and you can import your own graphics and position them precisely.

Canva — if your work involves more design-oriented output, Canva's element positioning works very similarly to Paint 3D's sticker system and supports custom uploaded graphics.

Krita — more advanced but free, excellent for precisely positioning custom graphic elements within a project.

Of these, Paint. NET is probably the closest to the https://getpaint3d.com/ without a steep learning curve. The layer system effectively replaces the sticker functionality you're missing.

You can use third-party software to import custom graphics as layers and freely adjust their positions to achieve a sticker-like effect similar to Paint 3D.

Paint 3D can still be installed via the Microsoft Store, but after Win11 24H2, it may be moved to “optional features” and need to be enabled manually.
