Opaque (not transparent) rectangular box on the screen obstructing display.

Hey Everyone

I am using a Lenovo legion Y540 with an Nvidia GTX1660Ti graphics card. Ever since I updated to Windows 11 I am getting an opaque grey or white rectangular box running vertically down and blocking the open windows. (It is not transparent). I am attaching some pics of the glitch - it does not show up on screenshots. I have noticed it pops up when the background is of a lighter color. I have disabled the transparency affects from setting but this problem is not going away. This impacts reading word files, excel files and pdf documents. 

The glitch is seriously impacting my productivity as I have to move the window to the right half the screen to work.
