One core (out of 20) always running at 100% since 2023-12 update
I installed the 2023-12 update a few days ago and since then one core (out of 20) runs at 100% all the time. This does not happen if I boot into safe mode. I don't see a process with either Task ...

Try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?

If not, you may enable services one by one to identify which one causing this problem.

Same situation following a clean boot, one core running at 100% all the time.
Not there following a boot into safe mode.

The only update that was in the list of those available for uninstall was a security update. Uninstalling it did not change anything.
The 2023-12 update (KB5033375) was not in the list of updates that could be uninstalled.
I believe the problem started just after the 2023-12 update was installed.
