On my Windows PC: Troubleshooter That Finds "Nothing Wrong"
I've been experiencing some frustrating issues on my Windows PC, but whenever I run the built-in troubleshooter, it reports that it finds nothing wrong, even though the problem continues to affect my daily use. I've tried restarting my computer and checking the basic settings, but I still can't figure out what is causing these issues, so I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to identify the underlying problem, run more advanced diagnostics, and determine whether outdated drivers, corrupted system files, or recent updates might be responsible.

“Nothing found” just means the troubleshooter’s checks didn’t identify a problem—it doesn’t mean your PC is working correctly.
A useful next step is Reliability Monitor. Search Start for View reliability history, then check the day and time the problem occurred. Click any red error marks and open View technical details. Repeated failures involving the same app or component can give you something specific to investigate.
If this started recently, compare that date with Settings > Windows Update > Update history. Timing is a clue, though not proof that an update caused it.
What exactly is happening—freezing, crashing, slow performance, or a connection problem? That detail matters more than running a long list of repair commands. Include any error message and when it happens; then it’s possible to choose a relevant test rather than updating or reinstalling things at random.
