If OBS Studio is not recording audio on your Windows 10 PC, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue.

 

1. Check Audio Sources in OBS Studio. Ensure that your desktop audio or any other output source is correctly set up. Go to Sources -> Audio Output Capture and select the correct device.

 

2. Verify Audio Settings in OBS Studio. Go to the Mixer section in OBS, click on the cogwheel icon next to each audio source, and select Advanced Audio Properties.

 

3. Update Audio Drivers. Outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause issues with audio recording in OBS. Go to Device Manager → Sound, video and game controllers, right-click your audio device, and select Update driver.

 

If OBS is still not working after following the above suggestions, you need to find a good alternative to OBS Studio instead.
