No characters appear in the "Type here to search" box, lower left
I disabled Keyscrambler but nothing shows when I type. Text entry in other apps is ok. May be related but Windows isn't updating after rebooting: "2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version ...
If the "Type here to search" box isn't working:
- Restart Windows Search in services.msc.
- Rebuild the search index via Settings > Search > Advanced Search Indexer Settings.
- Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter in Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Download and manually install update KB50486562 from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
- Restart Explorer.exe in Task Manager.
